Maple Walnut Protein Nice Cream

This ice cream is sweet, creamy, and refreshing, with crunchy walnuts and maple syrup. You don't need an ice cream maker to make this no-churn ice cream.

Ingredients

  • 4 bananas, sliced, frozen
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup milk – coconut, cashew, almond
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, crushed
  • 2 scoops protein or collagen powder

Toppings Optional

  • Homemade Caramel Sauce – recipe in notes
  • Chopped walnuts
  • Maple syrup

Instructions

  • Place the frozen bananas, maple syrup, milk and protein powder into your high speed blender. Mixon high until a smooth, thick consistency has been formed. Scrape the sides of the blender if necessary.
    Place in a freezer safe container then stir in the crushed walnuts.
    Place mixture into the freezer for 2 or more hours until frozen or until its the right consistency for you to serve.
    Top with caramel sauce, (homemade recipe below in notes) or crushed walnuts and maple syrup to serve.
