Smoothie Bowls are totally my breakfast jam as of late! I’ve been drinking smoothies for so many years, and sometimes you just need a change! Enter the smoothie bowl, it makes you feel like you are actually eating a meal versus slurping down a beverage.
It forces you to slow down and use a spoon to get up every last ounce of goodness in the bowl! Now, I still “drink” my fair share of smoothies but when I’m looking for a little something extra, this is it!

Blue-t-ful Smoothie Bowl
Ingredients
- 1 banana, sliced, frozen
- 1 cup blueberries, frozen
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup milk of choice
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 2 scoops protein or collagen powder
- 1 tablespoon blue spirulina powder
Toppings - Optional
- Fresh fruit or berries
- Coconut flakes
- Granola
- Chopped nuts
- Seeds like hemp, pumpkin or sunflower
- Drizzle nut butter
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in high-speed blender and process until smooth and creamy.Top with your favorite ingredients! I used berries, sliced bananas, coconut flakes and some chocolate granola.
