This smoothie is packed full of nutritious goodies – fibre from the hazelnuts, banana and dates (which also provide natural sweetness), as well as calcium and healthy fats from the milk making it a quick, simple, filling, and nutritious breakfast on the run!This is filling enough to act as a meal replacement (add a handful of spinach if you want some extra nutrients!) or you can split it into two smaller glasses for a sweet treat.
- 1 chopped frozen banana
- 1/4 cup hazelnuts
- 4 dates or honey to taste
- 1/2 cup milk of choice
- 1 tablespoon cocoa or cacao powder
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Combine all ingredient sin a food processor and process until smooth.Serve right away for the best taste and texture.
