Chocolate Banana Bark is a delicious fusion of flavors and textures that satisfies your sweet cravings while providing a hint of fruitiness.
The bark features a base of frozen bananas slices, a layer of peanut butter and then a final layer of chocolate all topped with flaky sea salt.
It’s the perfect tasty treat to keepin the freezer! Frozen bananas end up tasting like ice cream and this treatreminds me of a Snicker’s ice cream bar.

  • 2 bananas
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • Sea salt


  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. This will prevent the banana from sticking to the sheet and make for easy removal later.
    Cut up bananas into 1 inch slices and lay flat, side by side on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure all banana slices are touching.
    Cover with another piece of parchment paper. Using the bottom of a glass, press down on banana pieces so they become one layer.
    Add melted peanut butter over the banana layer and place in freezer for 30 minutes until hardened.
    In the microwave melt the dark chocolate and coconut oil in 30 second bursts stirring between each burst or using a double boiler, melt the dark chocolate and coconut oil until it becomes smooth and glossy. Stir occasionally to ensure even melting.
    Once the banana and peanut butter layer have hardened, add the melted chocolate over top. Sprinkle with course sea salt and add back to freezer to harden again.
    Once solidified, break up the chocolate peanut butter banana bark into pieces and serve.
