Black Forest Oatmeal (Single Serve)


Have your cake… and eat it for breakfast! This protein packed baked oats recipe will fuel your day and keep you full until lunch


½ cup rolled oats

1 ripe banana

1 egg

1 tablespoon cocoa powder

1 tablespoon sweetener of choice (optional)

1 teaspoon baking powder

¼ cup milk of choice

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

If using an oven, preheat to 180°C.  Stir all ingredients, together until smooth and pour mixture into an oven-safe dish.

Cook in the microwave 90-120 seconds.

Add any toppings if desired such as:

Chocolate chips

Chopped nuts

Fresh or frozen berries

Chocolate syrup

Pitted cherries

Whipped cream
