Ingredients

  • 1 cup thick Greek-style yogurt, plain or unflavoured
  • 1/4 cup protein or collagen peptides powder, plain, chocolate or vanilla
  • 1-2 tablespoons cocoa powder, taste test to find your level of chocolatey-ness
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk of choice
  • 2-3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup - more or less to taste
  • 1 tablespoon cashew or almond butter (or any other nut or seed butter)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a bowl. Start by adding 1 tablespoon of cocoa and milk and whisk together until completely smooth and no lumps remain.
Taste and adjust flavors as desired. Add more milk to thin it out or more protein powder to thicken it up. If you wish to make it more chocolatey add more cocoa.
If you are using a flavoured protein powder it may not need as much sweetener or flavouring as if you are using a plain or unflavoured one.
Eat right away OR refrigerate an hour for it to thicken even more!
Serve as is or with whipped cream, fresh berries or toppings of choice.
