After my workout today, I came home and made myself this date smoothie, and as always, it was a perfect sweet treat for a job well done!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond (or your choice) milk
  • 1 banana, sliced, frozen
  • 1 scoop protein or collagen powder
  • 2-3 dates
  • 1 tablespoon tahini (sesame seed butter) or any other nut butter
  • 1 tablespoon Chia seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Place the sliced frozen bananas in your blender, add the remaining ingredients. and blend
    Add a splash or two of extra almond milk as needed, especially if adding protein powder.
