Rejuvenating Green Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 banana, sliced, frozen
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced, frozen
  • 1 cup packed spinach
  • 1/2 cup pineapple chunks, frozen
  • 1/4 cup milk of choice  
  • 1 scoop protein or collagen powder (2 tbsp)
  • 1 tablespoon any nut or seed butter

Toppings

  • Whipped coconut cream – recipe below in notes
  • Fresh fruit
  • Chopped nuts
  • Seeds - hemp, chia, sunflower
  • Shredded coconut

Instructions

  • In a blender, combine all the ingredients with as little milk as possible. The less liquid the thicker the smoothie bowl base will be. You just need enough to get things moving and blending.
    Blend until smooth and creamy.
    Scoop into a bowl. Add your toppings of choice and enjoy cold immediately!
