Fruity, Crunchy & Perfect for Healthy Snacking (Blended Bites Style)
If you are searching for a healthy snack that is refreshing, satisfying, and tastes like summer in every bite, these Frozen Yogurt Berry Protein Bites deserve a permanent place in your freezer. Bursting with juicy berries, creamy yogurt, crunchy granola, and a generous boost of protein, they are everything you could want in a wholesome treat.
They are colourful, naturally sweet, incredibly easy to make, and proof that healthy snacking never has to be boring.
At Blended Bites, we love recipes that combine simple, nourishing ingredients into treats that taste every bit as indulgent as traditional desserts. These frozen yogurt bites are a perfect example. They have all the creamy goodness of frozen yogurt, the crunch of granola, and the bright flavour of berries – all wrapped up in convenient bite-sized portions.
Of course, berries don’t just taste amazing – they are packed with goodness too. They are naturally rich in antioxidants, vitamin C, and fibre, making them one of the most nutrient-dense fruits you can enjoy. Their natural sweetness also means you need very little added sweetener, allowing the fruit to shine.
The creamy base starts with thick Greek yogurt, which provides a rich texture along with gut-friendly probiotics and plenty of protein. Once frozen, it takes on an almost cheesecake-like consistency that pairs beautifully with the juicy berries.
To boost the protein even further, we stir in vanilla protein powder. Not only does it increase the protein content, but it also makes the yogurt extra thick and creamy. Protein helps keep you feeling fuller for longer, supports muscle recovery, and provides steady energy – making these bites much more satisfying than your average frozen snack.
Then comes one of the best parts: the granola.
Granola adds a wonderful crunch that contrasts perfectly with the creamy yogurt and soft berries. Every bite has that irresistible mix of creamy, crunchy, and juicy textures that keeps you reaching for another. It is this combination of textures that makes these bites feel like something you’d buy from a gourmet café.
And in true Blended Bites style, this recipe is all about adding nourishment instead of taking foods away. You are not skipping dessert – you are simply making a version that works with your body. Instead of reaching for processed frozen treats filled with refined sugars and artificial ingredients, you’re enjoying a snack made with wholesome ingredients that satisfy both your taste buds and your nutritional needs.
One of the biggest advantages of these frozen bites is how well they fit into a busy lifestyle. They take just a few minutes to prepare, freeze beautifully, and are ready whenever you need a quick snack or healthier dessert. Whether you are packing lunchboxes, looking for a post-workout snack, or simply trying to have healthier options on hand, these bites make healthy eating incredibly convenient.
The recipe is also wonderfully versatile. Swap the berries for mango and passionfruit for a tropical twist. Add chopped cherries for a summery version, or stir in diced peaches when they are in season. You can also experiment with different granolas, protein powders, or even drizzle the finished bites with dark or white chocolate for an extra-special finish.
However you customise them, one thing stays the same – they are refreshing, nourishing, and genuinely delicious.
These Frozen Yogurt Berry Protein Bites are everything we love about Blended Bites recipes: simple to make, packed with wholesome ingredients, naturally beautiful, and satisfying enough to keep you coming back for more.
Because healthy snacks should always be something you look forward to eating. ❄️
