Perfect portions of fudgy oat bars that are so delicious.  So, I like them for my chocolate fix and because they are healthy-delicious at the same time!  Double win!

These yummy chocolate oat bars are the bomb and super easy to make, just one bowl is needed to mix it all together. If you are craving a sweet treat that won’t ruin your healthy eating plan, look no further than these delicious and healthy no-bake oat bars! Loaded with fiber-rich oats, protein-packed peanut butter, and luscious melted chocolate, these bites are a nutritious and delicious way to satisfy your sweet tooth without sacrificing your health goals.

These are the absolute best oatmeal bars I’ve ever had in my life!  And it’s got my all-time favorite ingredient involved in the mix…have you met my bestie, CHOCOLATE? Plus I love recipes with oats. Besides chocolate, these bars include peanut butter, honey, oats, desiccated coconut and coconut oil. All natural and I’m telling you, these are so delish!! Sometimes, it’s fun to switch out the peanut butter with almond or cashew butter or any other nut butter you love!

Keep these in the freezer in a ziploc back and pop one or two into your mouth, whenever you feel the urge for something healthy.  Since I have a sweet tooth, these no bake oatmeal bars definitely does the trick when I want something guilt-free!

Why These No Bake Chocolate Oat Bars Are Super Healthy!

Well here it is folks!  There is NO reason not to make these healthy no bake bars! The kids would totally eat these up for a healthy snack in the afternoon or on the go quick breakfast, when there is no time! Packed with protein, fiber and healthy fats your body craves! For some added superfood love, toss in some dried fruit like raisins or dried cherries, wheat germ, flax seeds, chia seeds, nuts or whatever floats your boat.

Enjoy a healthy treat with this easy recipe. So yummy, they taste like dessert but make the perfect fueling breakfast or easy afternoon snack you can make in under 30 minutes. Sweet, rich and amazing!

I’m a big fan of old-fashioned no bake ‘things’, not having to turn on the oven is always a plus in my book. This no-bake recipe has been given a makeover and uses natural peanut butter, coconut oil, protein powder and honey in place of the traditional sugar, eggs, butter and flour.

The traditional no bake cookie recipe uses two cups of sugar. While this healthier version is sweet there is far less sweetener added and we are using honey instead which has added health benefits and is easier for our bodies to process. So, this easy recipe makes eating a little healthier, quick and delicious!

No matter what time of day you choose to enjoy them, you are surely in for a treat! Full of the chocolate peanut butter flavor and chewy oatmeal texture you will love this healthier version that is better for you and still delicious!

These delicious healthy bars make a delicious lunchbox treat or after school snack! They also happen to be really good frozen. Just pop one out of the freezer any time a craving hits.

Chocolate Oat Protein Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup peanut (or any nut or seed) butter
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup desiccated coconut
  • 1/4 cup protein or collagen peptides powder
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: 1/2 cup raisins or any dried fruits or nuts

Instructions

  • Line a 8 x 8-inch baking pan or dish with parchment paper on the bottom and sides leaving some overhanging to act as a handle to get the bars out easier for cutting.
    Place the peanut butter, honey, coconut oil in a medium saucepan and gently warm on a low heat until melted. Stir together as it melts. Once melted, add the chocolate chips and take off the heat. Continue to stir until melted.
    Lastly add the coconut rolled oats, protein powder and vanilla and stir until all is fully coated in the chocolate mixture.
    Scoop out into the lined pan and place in fridge to chill for an hour or so.
    To serve, lift out of pan with parchment paper handles and cut into 16 or more smaller squares if desired.
    Store in fridge for up to1 week or freezer for up to 3 months.
