At Blended Bites, we believe healthy snacks should feel indulgent. They should taste like dessert. They should make you pause for a second and think, “Wow, this is healthy?” And these little golden bites absolutely deliver.

Why You Will Love These

Dates are the foundation of this recipe, creating that soft, sticky texture we all love in bliss balls. They bring natural sweetness and a caramel depth that pairs beautifully with the pineapple and the bright, citrusy tang of passionfruit. It’s that sweet-meets-tart combination that keeps you reaching for just one more. This recipe is another one of those HOLY YUM ones!

Cashews add creaminess and healthy fats, while shredded coconut enhances the tropical vibe and gives the bites a subtle chew. A scoop of protein powder transforms them from a simple snack into a satisfying energy-boosting bite – perfect for post-workout fuel, busy afternoons, or a nourishing lunchbox treat.

And the passionfruit? That is the magic. Its vibrant flavour cuts through the sweetness of the dates and brings a refreshing lightness that makes these bites feel special. They are not heavy. They are not overly rich. They are bright, fresh, and sunshine-filled.

The Perfect Snack for Busy Days

These no-bake protein bites come together in minutes using a food processor. No oven. No complicated steps. Just blend, roll, chill.
They are ideal for:

Meal prep Sundays

Keep them in the fridge for a soft, chewy texture or store them in the freezer for a firmer bite. Either way, they are ready whenever you need something nourishing and satisfying.

Like all Blended Bites recipes, these are endlessly adaptable:

Add lime zest for extra zing
Stir in chia seeds for fibre
Drizzle with white chocolate for a dessert-style treat
