The verdict: There is a reason everyone is making this. It’s absolutely delicious and provides a significant hit of protein per serving to keep you feeling full and satisfied, and honestly, it’s so much fun to crack open and eat the chocolate magic shell! I love the combination of peanut butter and chocolate! It definitely reminds me of my favorite candy bar, Snickers! Especially if you add some chopped peanuts – so delicious!

I am such a dessert girl, it is hard for me not to eat something sweet after a meal but I know it’s important to be mindful when it comes to desserts. No need to feel guilty eating this “snickers” yogurt protein bowl! The thick Greek-style yogurt and your fave protein powder ups the protein, the peanut butter and coconut oil have good fats, the dark chocolate is high in iron, and the nuts are good fiber, so it is a pretty well balanced and healthy snack to have. Plus it tastes freaking delicious!

You can use peanuts to give it that snickers style, but I also like using walnuts or almonds. I also usually add some flax, chia, and hemp seeds for extra nutrients. It is also a great way to get in another serving of a calcium-rich food. Most adults need at least 3 servings of calcium daily; however, some require even more, which can be a difficult target to reach.
