  • 1 cup thick, Greek-style yogurt, plain or vanilla
  • 1 scoop protein or collagen peptides powder
  • 1 tablespoon peanut (or any other nut or seed) butter

Magic Shell Topping

  • 1 tablespoon chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon peanuts, roasted, chopped or nuts of choice

Instructions

  • Mix together yogurt, peanut butter and protein powder.

Magic Shell Topping

  • Place chocolate chips and coconut oil in small dish and microwave with 10 second bursts stirring between each one until melted and smooth.
Or use double boiler method - (pot of boiling water with a bowl resting on top) melt the chocolate chips and the coconut oil together.
    Pour over the yogurt.
Add peanuts or whatever toppings you would like.
    Freeze for 10-15 minutes.
Note: Don't leave it in the freezer too long or it will be too hard!
Tips for building the perfect bowl:
Mix in protein powder first: To ensure a smooth, creamy texture, whisk the protein powder into the yogurt before adding other toppings.
Measure your toppings: Ingredients like granola and nut butters can quickly add extra calories. If you are mindful of your intake, measure them out.
Prep ahead: For a quick breakfast, portion your flavored yogurt base and store it in an airtight container in the fridge. Add the crunchy toppings in the morning to keep them from getting soggy.
