Do you ever wake up feeling just a bit blah and you wish you had a way to feel more vibrant and ready to take on the day? My answer is usually coffee, but not today! I’ve got a better solution than caffeine, my friend.
This Green Ginger Smoothie is beyond delicious and you will feel healthier just by drinking it. I’m pretty sure my exact words to my husband were, “I feel so healthy now!” after I finished the first batch for taste testing. Smoothies really do seem like health in a glass.
By now, we all know how important it is to eat enough dark leafy green veggies. Even when we try our best to eat healthfully, it’s sometimes not hard to get caught short on the recommended daily servings.
This recipe is such an easy, healthy, simple green smoothie with spinach, banana, orange juice and fresh ginger. A nourishing breakfast smoothie or snack to help you get your recommended greens into your tummy.
I think you are going to love adding this smoothie because:
It takes 5 minutes to make
You can make it the night before and it holds up really well in the refrigerator
It’s an easy way to get in a few servings of vegetables and fruit
To keep things simple, there shouldn’t be too many ingredients. But there also shouldn’t be too few, unless you are one of those people who gets excited at the prospect of drinking liquefied kale, for example.
This recipe has just the right amount of ingredients and adds a little kick with fresh ginger and the citrusy brightness of orange, making this smoothie a delicious way to get some powerful nutrients into your body.
Plus, each ingredient not only delivers health benefits, it adds to the flavor. Healthy, refreshing, perfectly tart-sweet.
