Cinnamon Roll Protein Overnight Oats
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)
- 1 scoop protein or collagen peptides powder
- 1 teaspoon chia seeds
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Cream Cheese Glaze
- 1 tablespoon cream cheese, softened to room temperature or warmed
- 1 teaspoon honey
Add Ins Or Mix Ins For More Crunch & Texture
- Chopped nuts like almonds, pecans, walnuts
- Granola
- Coconut shreds
- Seeds like hemp, chia or sunflower
Instructions
- Combine oats, almond milk, protein powder, chia seeds, vanilla extract and cinnamon in a jar. Stir well, leave 5 minutes and stir again to make sure everything is well combined as the liquid is absorbed.In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese and honey until smooth.Pour the cream cheese glaze over the oats and swirl it in.Cover and refrigerate overnight (or at least 4 hours).Stir before serving and enjoy cold or warmed up.
