Cinnamon Roll Protein Overnight Oats

A fabulous dessert-inspired breakfast  Swirled with vanilla, cinnamon and a cream cheese glaze. Tastes like dessert, but healthy!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1 scoop protein or collagen peptides powder
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Cream Cheese Glaze

  • 1 tablespoon cream cheese, softened to room temperature or warmed
  • 1 teaspoon honey

Add Ins Or Mix Ins For More Crunch & Texture

  • Chopped nuts like almonds, pecans, walnuts
  • Granola
  • Coconut shreds
  • Seeds like hemp, chia or sunflower

Instructions

  • Combine oats, almond milk, protein powder, chia seeds, vanilla extract and cinnamon in a jar. Stir well, leave 5 minutes and stir again to make sure everything is well combined as the liquid is absorbed.
    In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese and honey until smooth.
    Pour the cream cheese glaze over the oats and swirl it in.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight (or at least 4 hours).
    Stir before serving and enjoy cold or warmed up.
