Chocolate Peanut Butter Strawberry Bark

Here is another “As Seen on TikTok” recipe – this time for Strawberry Chocolate Bark! I saw this and knew I had to make it! It’s a yummy treat that you can keep in the freezer and grab a chunk whenever you feel the need for a sweet treat!
This recipe has gone viral on TikTok. I love how amazing new food trends are being created on internet websites like TikTok and some of them go viral and get loads of attention.
This recipe is one of them, making a huge buzz around what is called frozen bark which is very versatile and can be made with all sorts of fruit and or chocolate/yogurt.
I have tried quite a few of these viral TikTok recipes recently and they do not disappoint. Its not every day that a food trend exceeds my expectations, but this one is definitely a winner. And this one is honestly just so adorable.
As soon as I saw this trend pop up, I had to make. I mean, how cute are these?
Almost too cute to eat … key word being almost.  lol.
It’s the most fun twist on chocolate covered strawberries. And we already know how I feel about any sweet treat that involves a chocolate-peanut butter combo. Making this was truly a no-brainer.
They are very easy to make, packed with delicious flavors, and the perfect combination of creamy, fruity, and crunchy. These little bites of heaven are perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth without feeling guilty. They are the perfect ‘to die for’ no bake treat.
I’m really so excited with how these turned out. They are perfectly sweet, salty, tart, and crunchy. You have to make them! I’m obsessed and already need to make more.
The best part about this is because it’s made with fruit and chocolate, I’d argue it can also be enjoyed as a snack, not just a dessert. Who’s with me?
Strawberries are packed with vitamin C and antioxidants, which are naturally detoxifying and a great way to support your digestive system. And of course, vitamin C can be helpful in boosting your immune system, but did you know it’s great for your skin and can also boost collagen production? Might have to categorize this one as a superfood sweet treat!
When I made these for my family they could not get enough of them. The first batch were gone in minutes and I was right back in the kitchen making more. The best part is I didn’t mind because this strawberry bark is so easy to make.
Aside from the time it takes to freeze these treats they only take a few minutes of preparation and they can be enjoyed.
A healthy dessert or snack option that your whole family will love!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt flakes

Instructions

  • Lay a sheet of parchment paper onto a rimmed baking sheet.
Rinse strawberries, remove stems and slice strawberries.
Lay out strawberry slices into a rectangle on prepared baking sheet. Make sure they touch each other and can overlap a little. You can make the rectangle whatever size you like but its generally around 10-15 inches. The bigger it is the thinner your bark with be.
In a medium bowl, melt the peanut butter in the microwave. Microwave for 20 seconds in a microwave safe bowl and stir. Microwave another 20 seconds until melted and runny.
Pour peanut butter over strawberry slices and spread evenly. You can use a knife or an offset spatula if you have one.
Place baking sheet in the freezer while you melt the chocolate.
Place chocolate chips and coconut oil in small dish and microwave at 50% power with 30 second bursts stirring between each one until melted and smooth.
Or use double boiler method - (pot of boiling water with a bowl resting on top) melt the chocolate chips and the coconut oil together.
Remove baking sheet from freezer. Pour and spread chocolate over peanut butter layer.
    OPTIONAL: sprinkle with flaky salt
Place baking sheet back in the freezer for 1 hour.
Remove baking sheet and, using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, cut bark into pieces. Lift pieces with a firm spatula and place 2-3 pieces in smaller bags and then place bags in a larger freezer bag.
Remove pieces as desired, leave out for 2-3 minutes before eating.
