This super healthy, chocolate peanut butter ice cream is rich, creamy and super easy to make!   It’s family approved and irresistibly chocolatey!

Ingredients

  • 4 bananas, sliced, frozen
  • 1/2 cup any milk
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup peanut (or any nut or seed) butter
  • 2 scoops protein or collagen peptides powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Toppings Optional

  • Shaved chocolate
  • Peanuts, roasted, salted, crushed
  • Chocolate chips

Instructions

  • In a powerful blender or food processor, add bananas and milk and process several minutes until smooth and creamy like soft serve ice cream.
    You may have to scrape down the sides a time or two during this process.
    Add the cocoa powder, peanut butter and protein powder and pulse a few times to blend in.
    You can eat right away, the ice cream will be soft serve, or put in container and freeze a while to firm it up more.
    Garnish with shaved chocolate and crushed peanuts if desired. You could also stir shaved chocolate and/or crushed peanuts into the ice cream after it’s been processed.
