Chocolate Cottage Cheese Mousse With Magic Shell
In a society obsessed with diet culture, we are often taught to fear cravings and view them as a sign of weakness. But what if I told you that honoring these cravings could actually improve your relationship with food and enhance your over all well-being? It’s true! By learning to work with our cravings rather than against them, we can tune into our hunger cues and better serve our body’s needs—both physically and mentally. One of the most surprising learnings for my gym clients is the power of adding planned snacks into their daily routine. When we nourish our bodies regularly, we don’t have to rely on willpower to resist cravings (which only ends up backfiring, dragging us into a cycle of restriction/overeating or binge eating).Planned snacks, especially when they are nutritionally balanced AND include factors that leave us mentally satisfied, result in increased energy, stable appetite, and a newfound sense of trust in our bodies.I am always on the hunt for dessert hacks that fit our fitness-focused lifestyle, and guess what?
