Caramel Protein Shake
Ingredients
- 1 medium banana, sliced, frozen
- 1/2 cup coconut (or any other) milk
- 1 scoop protein or collagen powder
- 2-3 dates, roughly chopped
- 2-4 tablespoons caramel sauce – store bought or recipe link below in notes
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Toppings - Optional
- Whipped coconut cream –recipe below in notes
- Drizzle of homemade caramel sauce – recipe below in notes
- Fresh chopped fruit
- Chopped nuts
Instructions
- If you wish to make your own sugar free super healthy caramel sauce and whipped coconut cream make these first so they are ready to use when you want to make your shake. Both recipes below in notes.Put all the ingredients in a blender. Blend until it's smooth and creamy, about 1 minute.Pour into a glass and top with whipped coconut cream and drizzle more caramel sauce on top, if desired.
