There is something undeniably magical about the combination of rich chocolate and juicy raspberries. The deep cocoa flavour paired with bursts of sweet-tart berries creates a dessert that is timeless, elegant, and impossible to resist. These Chocolate Raspberry Protein Brownies take that classic pairing and give it a wholesome makeover, transforming it into a nourishing snack that tastes every bit as indulgent as your favourite bakery brownie.
At Blended Bites, we believe healthy treats should never feel like a compromise. They should satisfy your sweet tooth, nourish your body, and leave you feeling energised instead of sluggish. These brownies do exactly that. They are rich, fudgy, naturally sweetened, packed with protein, and require absolutely no baking.
The brownie base is everything a brownie should be – soft, dense, and intensely chocolatey. Almond flour creates a tender texture, while cocoa powder provides deep chocolate flavour. Cashew butter adds richness and healthy fats, helping create that irresistible melt-in-your-mouth consistency. A touch of maple syrup naturally sweetens the mixture without overpowering the chocolate.
Then comes the raspberry layer.
Fresh or frozen raspberries are gently cooked with chia seeds to create a naturally thick, vibrant topping that is bursting with fruity goodness. The raspberries add a refreshing tartness that perfectly balances the richness of the chocolate brownie beneath. Not only do they taste incredible, but they are also loaded with fibre, vitamin C, and antioxidants that help support overall health.
To make these brownies even more satisfying, we have added chocolate protein powder to the brownie layer. Protein isn’t just for athletes – it’s an important nutrient that helps support muscle repair, keeps you feeling fuller for longer, and helps turn a simple dessert into a balanced snack. Instead of reaching for processed sweets, you can enjoy a brownie that fuels your body while tasting like a treat.
Finally, everything is topped with a silky layer of melted dark chocolate. Once chilled, it sets into a glossy shell that gives each bite that satisfying snap before giving way to the soft brownie and juicy raspberry filling underneath. It is the finishing touch that makes these brownies look as impressive as they taste.
One of the things you will love most about this recipe is how incredibly simple it is. There is no oven to preheat, no complicated techniques, and very little cleanup. Simply mix, layer, chill, and slice. It is an ideal recipe for beginner cooks and experienced foodies alike.
These brownies also make wonderful meal-prep snacks. Store them in the refrigerator for an easy grab-and-go treat throughout the week, or freeze them for longer storage. They are perfect for lunchboxes, afternoon pick-me-ups, post-workout snacks, or healthy desserts after dinner.
The best part? Every bite delivers that perfect harmony of creamy chocolate, bright raspberry flavour, and wholesome ingredients. It is proof that healthy desserts don’t have to taste “healthy.” They can be every bit as rich, decadent, and satisfying as traditional favourites while offering so much more nutritionally.
If you are a fan of chocolate and berries, prepare to fall in love. These Chocolate Raspberry Protein Brownies are one of those recipes you will find yourself making again and again because they are easy, delicious, and guaranteed to disappear quickly. 🤎

Chocolate Raspberry Protein Brownies (No Bake)
Ingredients
Chocolate Brownie Base
- 2 cups almond flour
- 1/2 cup chocolate protein powder
- 1/2 cup cashew butter
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/3 cup maple syrup or honey
- 2-4 tablespoons milk of choice (if needed)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of sea salt
Raspberry Layer
- 1 1/2 cups frozen or fresh raspberries
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1-2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey (taste test)
- 1 tablespoon water
Chocolate Topping
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
Optional Toppings
- Fresh raspberries
- Freeze-dried raspberry pieces
- Shaved dark chocolate
- Sprinkle of flaky sea salt
Instructions
- Line a 7 x 5-inch loaf pan or dish with parchment paper on the bottom and sides leaving some overhanging to act as a handle to get the bars out easier for cutting. In a medium bowl, combine the almond flour, protein powder, cocoa powder and sea salt.Add the cashew butter, maple syrup and vanilla. Mix until a thick brownie dough forms. If the mixture feels too dry, add the milk one tablespoon at a time until it holds together when pressed.Firmly press the brownie mixture into the prepared pan, smoothing the surface with the back of a spoon.
Raspberry Layer
- Add the raspberries and water to a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook for 4–5 minutes until the berries soften.Stir in the chia seeds and continue cooking for another minute. Remove from the heat and allow the mixture to cool slightly as it thickens. Taste test and add maple syrup if needed. (Sometimes raspberries can be a bit bitter!)Spread the raspberry mixture evenly over the brownie base.
Chocolate Topping
- Place chocolate chips and coconut oil in small dish and microwave with 20 second bursts stirring between each one until melted and smooth.Or use double boiler method - (pot of boiling water with a bowl resting on top) melt the chocolate chips and the coconut oil together.Pour the melted chocolate over the raspberry layer and spread evenly.Refrigerate for 2–3 hours, or until completely firm.Slice into 8 bars or more smaller squares using a sharp knife warmed under hot water for clean edges.Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 1 week or freezer for up to 3 months.Thaw in the fridge or enjoy straight from the freezer for a firmer, fudgier texture.
