I have seen these viral yogurt bites all over social media, many with just 3 ingredients, and knew I needed to make my own version. While my recipe requires more than just 3 ingredients, these bites are packed with protein and taste incredible! They have been my go-to dessert for weeks.

Holy moly, these gems couldn’t be easier to make. Like, you really can’t mess them up and they are so customizable! These are for busy bees everywhere.

Chocolate Protein Frozen Yogurt Bars

Indulge in these creamy frozen treats that combine the rich flavors of peanut butter and Greek yogurt, topped with crunchy salted peanuts and crisp chocolate. The perfect combination of flavour and health.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain Greek-style yogurt
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup protein or collagen peptides powder
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup peanuts, roasted, salted   

Chocolate Topping

  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

Instructions

  • Line a 7 x 5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper or use a silicone bar mold.
    In a small bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, peanut butter, protein powder, honey and vanilla extract.
    Pour the mixture into the lined pan and top with roasted peanuts.
    Place in the freezer for at least 2 hours, or until firm.

Chocolate Topping

  • Place chocolate chips and coconut oil in small dish and microwave with 30 second bursts stirring between each one until melted and smooth.
    Or use double boiler method - (pot of boiling water with a bowl resting on top) melt the chocolate chips and the coconut oil together.
    Once melted pour onto the yogurt layer top and return to the freezer for about 10 minutes, or until the chocolate has hardened.
    Remove from pan using the parchment paper handles and cut into 10-12 bars or pop out of molds to serve.
    Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer.
