If you love chocolate but want a treat that feels lighter, more nourishing, and packed with protein, these Yogurt Protein Clusters With Chocolate Shell are about to become a staple in your fridge or freezer. Creamy on the inside, snappy on the outside, and full of nostalgic flavor, they are the perfect balance of indulgence and fuel.
At Blended Bites, we are all about creating desserts that work with your body, not against it. These protein cups start with a thick Greek yogurt base that brings natural creaminess and a solid protein boost. Combined with protein powder, nut butter, and almond flour, the filling delivers awesome taste and texture – without raw flour, baking, or excessive sugar.
The yogurt layer is soft, smooth, and lightly sweetened, with vanilla and a pinch of sea salt enhancing the flavor. Mini chocolate chips add bursts of chocolate throughout, making every bite feel familiar and comforting. You can add your own add-ins too. Chopped dates, nuts or fresh fruit (I used fresh strawberries) nuts or cacao nibs all add more texture and crunch. It’s the kind of dessert that satisfies your sweet tooth while still leaving you feeling energized and balanced.
What truly sets these cups apart is the chocolate shell. A thin layer of melted dark chocolate hardens beautifully around the creamy filling, creating that irresistible crack when you bite in. It transforms these protein clusters from a simple snack into a dessert that feels special – perfect for evenings, entertaining, or anytime you want something a little extra.
Because these clusters are completely no bake, they are quick and easy to prepare. Everything comes together in one bowl, and the clusters set in the fridge or freezer with minimal effort. They are ideal for meal prep, giving you a ready-to-go protein treat whenever cravings strike.
Unlike traditional desserts made with butter and refined flour, these yogurt protein clusters rely on wholesome, recognizable ingredients. Greek yogurt and protein powder help keep you fuller for longer, while natural sweeteners provide balance without overwhelming sweetness. Stored cold, the texture stays creamy and satisfying, with the chocolate shell adding structure and crunch.
Enjoy them straight from the fridge for a softer bite or from the freezer for a firmer, ice-cream-like texture. However you serve them, these Yogurt Protein Clusters With Chocolate Shell prove that healthy treats can still feel indulgent, nostalgic, and deeply satisfying – the Blended Bites way. 🤎

Lift from the bowl of chocolate and let any excess drip off, then place it onto a tray lined with baking paper. Repeat with the remaining clusters.Or hold each one with a fork over the melted chocolate and spoon it over letting the excess drip back into the bowl. Sprinkle with flaky salt if desired, then chill until chocolate has set.Refrigerate or freeze for 30–45 minutes until the chocolate shell is set.Enjoy chilled or frozen.Store cups in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week or freezer for up to 3 months.
