Also, on top of all that awesomeness, all you need is just a few minutes, and 7 ingredients to make them and then you just have to wait for them to harden up in the fridge.

Unlike a traditional one big slab of chocolate bark, these healthy sweet treats are made by shaping them into clusters, so they come out looking as great as they taste into delightful one serving portions.

To be honest, most store bought sweets don’t offer much, if any, protein or fiber. This clusters recipe is an exception, delivering approximately 6 grams of protein and 3 grams of fiber per serving to help satisfy your sweet tooth in a healthier way.

I’ve been seeing these viral chocolate-covered matcha clusters all over social media lately. I just knew I had to try them with because yogurt, strawberries and chocolate are one of my favourite flavour combinations.

This recipe did not disappoint and was enjoyed by practically everyone who tried one. Made with nutritious ingredients, this is a healthier dessert recipe that is sure to be a hit with the whole family.

These really are the perfect after-dinner treat. Sweet, simple, delicious, and they look beautiful for holiday parties or as quick gifts.

I like keeping a bag of these gorgeous clusters in my freezer for when that sweet tooth kicks in. They are crispy and crunchy, yet soft and chewy. I give them a 1 on work, 10 on reward. I wish all sweet treat recipes delivered those results.

Why you will love this recipe:

Quick and Easy: No baking required, just mix, freeze, and dip.

Healthy Twist: Made with thick Greek yogurt and fresh strawberries for a wholesome treat.

Visually Stunning: The green matcha powder creates a vibrant, Instagram-worthy dessert.

Make-Ahead Friendly: Perfect for prepping in advance and keeping in the freezer.

Customizable: Swap ingredients to suit your dietary preferences. For example, try swapping the strawberries for either blueberries or raspberries, or roll the clusters in crushed pistachios before freezing for some added crunch.

Or use any chocolate or chocolate chips like dark, milk, semi-sweet or even a mix. Using quality chocolate helps this recipe taste better and melt easier because of the lower wax content in the chocolate.

Sprinkles.  For a more festive touch, add sprinkles to the clusters after they are formed on the trays but before they harden. You might also like a light sprinkling of sea salt for a sweet and salty flavor combination.

You can make these treats all year round, substituting seasonal dried fruits and different nuts for the occasion.

  • 1 1/2 cups thick Greek-style yogurt
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup protein or collagen peptides powder

White Chocolate Matcha Coating

  • 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon matcha green tea powder
  • 1 tablespoon freeze dried strawberries or strawberry powder -optional for garnish

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, stir together the yogurt, chopped strawberries, honey and protein powder until fully combined.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Spoon dollops of about two tablespoons of the mixture onto the sheet to create 8-10 individual clusters or more smaller ones if desired. Leave a bit of space between each cluster to prevent them from sticking together.
Place the tray in the freezer and freeze the clusters for at least 2 hours, or until completely solid.

White Chocolate Matcha Coating

  • Place chocolate chips and coconut oil in small dish and microwave with 20 second bursts stirring between each one until melted and smooth.
Or use double boiler method - (pot of boiling water with a bowl resting on top) melt the chocolate chips and the coconut oil together.
Once melted, whisk in the matcha powder until fully incorporated, creating a uniform green coating.
Remove the clusters and after checking they are firm and set, working quickly, dip each cluster into the melted matcha white chocolate, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
Use two forks to hold each cluster and one by one, dip into the melted chocolate, and roll around until fully coated, then place back on the parchment lined tray.
Or hold each one with a fork over the melted chocolate and spoon it over letting the excess drip back into the bowl.
Place the coated clusters back onto the parchment-lined tray and repeat until done.
Remove the frozen yogurt clusters from the freezer..Use a fork or spoon to help lift the cluster and allow any excess chocolate to drip off.
Optional: Sprinkle with freeze-dried strawberries or strawberry powder for an extra pop, added flavor and decoration.
Return the tray to the freezer and let the clusters set for at least 30 minutes, or until the coating is firm.
Keep your clusters stored in an airtight container in the freezer, and enjoy!
Let them thaw a bit before enjoying!
