So instead, let’s make a batch of these gorgeous little energy bites!Here is a fabulous one bowl recipe for easy gluten-free, no bake, energy bites that taste like dessert, but are actually a healthy snack! These protein balls remind me of peanut butter, chocolate chip cookie dough, only they are more wholesome and lower in sugar.So we are convincing ourselves that we are eating cookie dough bites when we snack on these. Minus the refined sugars and white flour. With oats and honey instead, along with loads of rich peanut butter flavor. This healthy eating business is good.Only seven healthy ingredients too! No added sugar, no ingredients you can't pronounce. Just real wholesome goodness! The best part is how simple they are to make. Throw them up in a bowl and mix together! Ingredients
- 1 cup instant or quick
- 1/2 cup peanut (or any other nut or seed) butter
- 1/2 cup desiccated coconut
- 2 scoops protein or collagen powder
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix together until well combined. Form into 16 or more smaller balls about 1 tablespoon or around 1-inch in size (about the size of a golf ball). Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or freezer for up to 3 months.
