Hazelnut Chocolate Protein Mousse For One
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup cottage cheese
- 1/4 cup thick Greek-style yogurt
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 1 scoop protein or collagen peptides powder, chocolate or vanilla
- 1 tablespoon hazelnut butter, store bought or homemade Nutella chocolate spread recipe below in notes
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon instant espresso powder
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Toppings Optional
- 1/4 cup hazelnuts, toasted, chopped
- Dark chocolate chips or shavings
Instructions
- In a blender or food processor, combine cottage cheese, yogurt, cocoa powder, espresso powder, protein powder, hazelnut butter or Nutella hazelnut spread, honey and vanilla. Blend on high until the mixture is silky and completely smooth.Spoon the mousse into small serving bowls or jars.Chill for 30 minutes if you would like it extra thick and cold.Top with chopped hazelnuts and chocolate chips or shavings just before serving.
