Creamy Lime Chia Pudding

Chia pudding is a delicious option for anyone looking for a healthy, nutritious and filling breakfast. It is made by mixing Chia Seeds with flavours add milk then chill. Serve it alone or topped with fresh berries or nuts.
The Chia Seeds will swell and create a creamy amazing textured pudding. It can be eaten for breakfast, a snack or as a dessert. It is one of my favorite healthy make ahead breakfasts. The chia provides lots of protein, healthy fats and fiber to give me energy all morning.
When chia seeds sit in almond milk or any liquid it becomes a nice thick pudding. It’s creamy and satisfying as chia seeds are rich in protein and fiber, antioxidants and omega 3, as well as many other nutrients
Blending avocado in with the lime and almond milk makes this chia pudding makes it even more nutritious and extra creamy. Avocados are one of the worlds healthiest foods. They contain lots of fiber and are packed with healthy fats that help lower cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart disease.
What’s great about this breakfast is that you obtain all 9 essential amino acids just from the chia seeds alone. There are not many plants-based foods that can provide all 9 in just one food.
This is something that non-meat eaters can struggle to obtain unless they build all 9 into a meal by combining foods. Therefore, this makes this a nutritious dish and delicious way to obtain all 9 essential amino acids (something we require for optimal bodily function).
If you haven’t tried chia seed pudding before, now is the time!
I eat chia pudding regularly. Besides eating it for breakfast I love having it after a workout. The protein rebuilds my strength and energy and the delightful taste rewards me for my efforts.
On a personal level, every time I work out I celebrate. Celebrating tells the universe I want more of this and gives me the inspiration to work out regularly. By celebrating after every workout, the energy around it changes; I don’t have to make myself do it, I want to do it. I tell myself, I GET to workout, how lucky am I!
Do you celebrate after working out? Do you tell yourself how fabulous you are for working out and feel the joy of taking care of your body? If you don’t, give it a try you’ll see how inspiring it is.
And of course eating healthy nutritious food supports your exercise energy requirements so you can give it your best shot.
