Chocolate Whipped Cottage Cheese "Mousse"

This thick and creamy chocolate pudding is made by whipping cottage cheese. Not only is it low carb and high protein it only takes minutes to make. The creamy texture and rich chocolate flavor will have you hooked!
You could eat this for breakfast, dessert, snack or a healthy treat. If you have never tried whipped cottage cheese I urge you to try it.  It is so good and has a cream texture like a decadent pudding or chocolate cheesecake. Great for those on low carb eating plans
Another plus is that you can change up the flavors with extracts, toppings or add ins to further increase it’s deliciousness. Not only is cottage cheese an excellent source of protein, it is loaded with nutrients like B vitamins, calcium, phosphorus and selenium.
I will bet no one will know this delicious bowl of chocolatey goodness is made with cottage cheese. Try it and see for yourself.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa or cacao powder
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Spoon the cottage cheese into a food processor and process until smooth and creamy.
    Add the cocoa powder and vanilla and process again to combine.
    Spoon chocolate mixture into a bowl and add your favorite toppings.
    Store any leftovers in an airtight container.
