Brownie Cheesecake Protein Balls
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1 scoop protein or collagen peptides powder
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
- Pinch of sea salt -optional
Instructions
- In a blender or food processor, blend the cottage cheese, honey, peanut butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.Transfer the mixture to a mixing bowl. Stir in the cocoa powder, almond flour, and protein powder until a thick dough forms.Fold in the chocolate chips, saving a few for topping if desired.Roll the mixture into 10-12 bite-sized balls (about 1 tablespoon each) using your hands.Place on a parchment-lined tray and sprinkle lightly with sea salt. Chill in the refrigerator or 20 to 30 minutes to firm up before serving.Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for longer storage.
