Yogurt Soft Serve Chocolate Ice Cream

 
This frozen yogurt ice cream is delectably rich and creamy. It's naturally sweetened with honey and has a deep chocolate flavor from cocoa. With each bite you will get a refreshing dose of tangy chocolate that's good until the last drop.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Greek-style yogurt, plain, unsweetened
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup almond (or any other) milk (plain or vanilla)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla essence

Instructions

  • Place the yogurt, cocoa powder, honey, almond milk,  and vanilla extract into a blender and process until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
    Serve or Freeze:
    For soft-serve texture, freeze for 30 minutes then serve into ice cream bowls.
    For a firmer, more traditional ice cream consistency, freeze for 2-4 hours.
    When ready to serve, allow the ice cream to thaw slightly for easier scooping.
    Top with your desired toppings such as fresh fruit, nuts, chocolate chips or sprinkles.
