  • 1/2 cup freeze dried strawberries,crushed
  • 1 scoop protein or collagen peptides powder

Toppings Optional

Instructions

  • Notes: If you are making your own condensed milk you will need to make it first so its ready when you want to make the fudge. Also you will need to double the recipe to make enough for both layers of this fudge recipe.
Line the bottom of an 7 x 5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later.

Chocolate Base Layer

  • Add dark chocolate chips and condensed milk to a medium microwave safe mixing bowl. Heat in 15-30 second intervals, stirring in between with a spatula until mixture is completely melted and smooth.
Or use double boiler method - (pot of boiling water with a bowl resting on top) melt the chocolate chips and the condensed milk together.
Add protein powder and vanilla extract and mix well to combine.
Scoop out into lined pan and smooth out with a spatula or back of a spoon.
Place in fridge while you make the strawberry layer.

Scoop out on top of the chocolate layer and smooth out with a spatula or back of a spoon.
If desired, you can sprinkle some additional crushed freeze-dried strawberries or chocolate chips on top for decoration.
Place fudge into fridge to set (mine took less than 1 hour). It should feel completely solid once it is set.
Once fudge is set, remove it from fridge and let it come to room temperature for a few minutes. Then cut into small pieces with a large sharp knife.
Store uneaten fudge in the fridge for up to 1 week or freezer for up to 3 months.
