1cupsoft dates, (if your dates are hard, soak in warm water for 10 minutes and drain)
1cupraw almonds
1/3cupvanilla or chocolate protein powder
2tablespoonscacao powder or cocoa powder
2tablespoonsalmond butter
1tablespoonhemp or chia seeds
1tablespooncoconut oil, melted
1teaspoonvanilla extract
Pinch of sea salt

Instructions
Add the almonds to a food processor and process until roughly chopped.Add dates, protein powder, cacao powder, almond butter, hemp seeds, coconut oil, vanilla and sea salt.Blend until the mixture comes together into a sticky dough.If the mixture seems too dry, add one teaspoon of water at a time until it holds together.Roll into 14-16 bite-sized balls using your hands.Roll in your favourite coating if desired.Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week or freeze for up to three months.Blended Bites Tips💡Stir in mini dark chocolate chips for extra indulgence.Add a tablespoon of collagen peptides for an extra protein boost.Use roasted almonds for an even richer flavour.Add a pinch of cinnamon or espresso powder to enhance the chocolate.
