Almond Butter Protein Mousse

This delightful healthy mousse is made with a secret ingredient: cottage cheese, which gives it an unbelievably creamy texture and protein boost. It is the perfect healthier treat and a great source of protein.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese 
  • 1/4 cup almond (or any other nut or seed) butter 
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 

Toppings Optional

  • Chopped nuts
  • Fresh fruit or berries
  • Seeds like hemp, chia, sunflower for some crunch
  • Granola

Instructions

  • Blend cottage cheese, almond butter, honey and vanilla extract in a food processor until completely smooth. 
    Spoon into serving dishes and chill for at least 30 minutes. 
    Serve with chopped nuts or fresh fruit or your choice of toppings.
