Whipped Cottage Cheese Protein Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese - full fat for the creamiest texture
  • 1 small banana, sliced, frozen
  • 1/4 cup protein or collagen peptides powder, plain or vanilla
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice or cream
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Add cottage cheese, banana, honey, protein powder, milk or cream and vanilla extract to a food processor. Process until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides if needed. Taste the mixture, and add additional honey or vanilla extract to taste if desired.
    Pour the blended mixture into a dish or ice cube tray and freeze for 3–4 hours,
    If you want to serve it as a soft serve simple freeze for an hour or so until at your desired texture.
    If fully frozen you can also re-blend in a food processor until smooth and creamy. Enjoy right away as soft serve, or refreeze for a firmer version.
