Servings 1

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup thick Greek-style yogurt, plain or vanilla
  • 1 scoop protein or collagen peptides powder
  • 1 tablespoon almond or peanut butter

Magic Shell Topping

  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoon peanuts, roasted, salted, crushed

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and peanut butter. Stir until smooth and fully incorporated. Spoon the mixture into a serving bowl or small dish and smooth out the top with a spoon.

Magic Shell Topping

  • Place chocolate chips and coconut oil in small dish and microwave with 20 second bursts stirring between each one until melted and smooth.
Or use double boiler method - (pot of boiling water with a bowl resting on top) melt the chocolate chips and the coconut oil together.
Pour the melted chocolate mixture evenly over the yogurt, allowing it to coat the surface. The sauce will start to harden once it comes into contact with the cold yogurt, creating a delightful chocolate hard shell.
Sprinkle your peanuts or desired prepared toppings over the magic shell chocolate sauce while it's still liquid. This allows the toppings to adhere to the chocolate shell and adds an extra burst of flavor and texture.
Wait about 1-2 minutes for the chocolate to harden into a crisp shell. For a faster set, place the bowl in the refrigerator for 30 seconds.
Crack the chocolate shell with your spoon and enjoy the creamy, crunchy, and nutty layers in every bite!
