Ingredients
1cupalmond flour (or oats blended to a flour)
1/2cuptahini (sesame seed paste) well stirred
3tablespoonshoney or maple syrup
3tablespoonscocoa powder
2tablespoonscoconut oil, melted
1teaspoonvanilla extract
1/2cupSesame seeds for coating
Instructions
Optional step -Toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan over a medium heat for a couple of minutes stirring continuously. This will help bring out the natural nuttiness of the seeds. Leave to cool.Add the tahini, honey, coconut oil and vanilla to a bowl and mix to combine.Add the almond flour, cocoa and mix until you have a dough consistency. Shape into 10-12 balls and coat in the sesame seeds Store your tahini chocolate balls in an air-tight container at room temperature (for softer balls) or in the fridge for up to 4 days.
