Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 2 scoops vanilla protein powder
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup freeze-dried strawberries, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk (any kind, as needed)

Optional Coatings

  • Extra crushed freeze-dried strawberries
  • Desiccated coconut
  • White chocolate drizzle

Instructions

  • In a small bowl combine almond flour, oats, protein powder, cream cheese, and crushed freeze-dried strawberries, honey and vanilla extract and mix until everything comes together into a soft dough.
If the mixture feels a little dry, add milk one tablespoon at a time until it holds together.
Scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll into 10-12 bite-sized balls using your hands.
Roll each ball in crushed freeze-dried strawberries or coconut for extra flavour and texture if desired.
Place the balls in the fridge for 20–30 minutes to firm up.
Once set, they are ready to enjoy.
Store your strawberry protein balls in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1week or freezer for up to 3 months.
They are delicious straight from the fridge or slightly softened from the freezer.
    Easy Ways To Customize
One of the best things about protein ball recipes is how flexible they are.
     Try these variations:
    • Add white chocolate chips for a strawberries-and-cream flavour
    • Use coconut flour instead of almond flour for a slightly different texture
    • Add collagen peptides for an extra protein boost
    • Add a tablespoon or two of almond or cashew butter for a creamier taste
    • Drizzle with dark chocolate for a dessert-style finish.
