Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, sliced and frozen
  • 4-6 soft dates
  • 2 tablespoons almond or cashew butter
  • 1 scoop caramel or vanilla protein powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt (plus extra for topping)
  • 1-3 tablespoons almond milk (as needed for blending)

Instructions

  • Slice ripe bananas and freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight.
    If dates are firm, soak in warm water for 5–10 minutes, then drain.
    Add frozen bananas, dates, nut butter, protein powder, vanilla, and sea salt to a high-speed blender or food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed. Add almond milk gradually to assist blending.
    Add a pinch more salt or a small drizzle of maple syrup if desired.
    Enjoy immediately for soft-serve consistency, or freeze for 1–2 hours for a firmer scoop.
