Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 scoop chocolate or vanilla protein powder
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1-2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey (to taste)
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk of choice for blending if needed 
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Optional Toppings

  • Dollop of whipped coconut cream – recipe link below in notes
  • Dark chocolate shavings
  • Fresh berries
  • Coconut flakes
  • Nut butter drizzle
  • Cacao nibs

Instructions

  • Add cottage cheese, protein powder, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla and salt to a blender or food processor.
    Blend until completely smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down the sides if needed.
    Add a small splash of milk if you prefer a softer, lighter texture.
    Taste and adjust sweetness as desired.
    Spoon into 2 serving bowls and chill for 20–30 minutes for a thicker mousse texture, or enjoy immediately.
    Add your favourite toppings and serve.
