Ingredients

  • 1 banana, sliced, frozen
  • 3/4 cup frozen blueberries or mixed berries
  • 3/4 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1/4 cup thick Greek-style yogurt or coconut cream
  • 1 scoop vanilla or unflavoured protein powder (whey isolate, plant-based, or collagen peptides)
  • 1-2 teaspoons maple syrup or honey (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional Add Ins Or Toppings

  • Blue spirulina powder
  • Fresh blueberries
  • Coconut flakes
  • Hemp or chia seeds for extra protein and fibre
  • Granola clusters
  • A drizzle of coconut cream

Instructions

  • Add almond milk to a high-speed blender first, followed by frozen banana, berries, protein powder, vanilla and sweetener if using and blend until thick and smooth.
    In a glass, swipe Greek yogurt or coconut cream around the inside to create a marbled “cloud-like” effect.
    Pour the smoothie into the prepared glass and enjoy immediately.
    Protein Tip
    This smoothie provides approximately 25–30 grams of protein, depending on the protein powder and yogurt used.
