Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup milk of choice for a smoothie bowl or 1 cup for a sippable smoothie
  • 1/2 banana, sliced, frozen
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks, frozen
  • 1 cup loosely packed baby spinach or kale leaves
  • 2 dates, pitted
  • 1 scoop protein or collagen peptides powder

Toppings Optional

  • Chopped fresh pineapple
  • Fresh berries
  • Banana slices
  • Chopped nuts
  • Hemp seeds
  • Drizzle of nut butter
  • Coconut shreds

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender. Turn the blender on low speed, then gradually increase the speed. If your blender has a tamper, use it to push the fruit toward the blades. If the mixture stops moving, stop the blender and use a spatula to scrape down the sides of the blender.
    Blend until smooth. Serve immediately in a bowl as a smoothie bowl or in a glass as a smoothie. Top with your favorite toppings.
