Homemade protein bars will help bring hunger under control and keep you away from unhealthy snacks. They are great as a post-workout snack, at work, or as a ‘coffee treat’. This homemade protein-rich bar recipe is bound to steal your heart.

Ingredients
3/4cupalmonds or walnuts or a mix
4ozcream cheese, room temperature
1cupnatural peanut butter
1/4cupcoconut oil, melted
1cupany protein powder
1-2tablespoonshoney or maple syrup
1teaspoonvanilla extract
Instructions
Place almonds into a food processor and process until broken down and crumbly. Add cream cheese, peanut butter, coconut oil, protein powder, honey and vanilla extract and continue to process until well combined.
Line a 8" or 9" square pan with parchment paper leaving some overhanging to act as a handle to get the bars out easily.Scoop out the mixture from the food processor into the lined tin – spread/pat down with a spatula into an even layer.Refrigerate for an hour. Cut protein bars into 8 pieces.Store protein bars covered in fridge.
