Mango Yoghurt Protein Frozen Bites

These mango yoghurt protein frozen bites are a cold and creamy treat that taste indulgent but are easy to make with simple ingredients! A healthy and nutritious dessert or treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups mango chunks, frozen
  • 1 cup thick Greek-style yogurt
  • 2 scoops protein or collagen peptides powder

Chocolate Drizzle

  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil

Instructions

  • Add the mango, yoghurt and protein powder to a blender/food processor and blend until smooth.
    Transfer into moulds or a muffin tin lined with 8 cases. Freeze until set (around 1- 2 hours).

Chocolate Drizzle

  • Place chocolate chips and coconut oil in small dish and microwave with 15 second bursts stirring between each one until melted and smooth.
    Or use double boiler method - (pot of boiling water with a bowl resting on top) melt the chocolate chips and the coconut oil together.
    Once melted, drizzle the melted dark chocolate over the bites using a spoon.
    Store in an air-tight container in the freezer for up to 3 months. Remove 10-15 minutes before serving to allow the bites to soften a bit before eating.
