Ingredients
1 1/2cupsrolled oats
1cupchocolate protein powder
1/2cuppeanut or almond butter
1/4cuphoney or maple syrup
1/4cupcocoa powder
1/2cupmilk of choice
1/4cupchocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
Line a 8 x 8” baking pan or dish with parchment paper on the bottom and sides leaving some overhanging to act as a handle to get the bars out easier for cutting.In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, chocolate protein powder, and cocoa powder. Add the peanut butter and honey, mixing until the ingredients start to form a dough.Gradually add the milk, mixing until you get a thick, cohesive mixture. Fold in the chocolate chips if using.Press the mixture into the lined pan, spreading it out evenly.Refrigerate for about 1 hour or until firm.Cut into 12 bars or more smaller squares and store in an airtight container in the fridge.
