Ingredients

  • 1 cup baby spinach (or chopped kale)
  • 1/2 banana, sliced, frozen
  • 1/2 cup frozen mango or pineapple
  • 1/2 ripe avocado
  • 3/4 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1 scoop unflavoured or vanilla protein powder (whey, plant-based, or collagen peptides)

Instructions

  • Add almond milk to a high-speed blender first, followed by spinach, frozen fruit, avocado and protein powder.
    Blend on low, then increase to high, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed.
    Blend until thick, smooth, and creamy. Add a splash more milk only if needed.
    Pour into a bowl and smooth the top with a spoon.
