Ingredients

Date Caramel

  • 4 Medjool dates, pitted
  • 2-3 tablespoons milk of choice
  • Pinch of salt

Smoothie Bowl

  • 1 banana, sliced, frozen
  • 1/2 cup thick Greek-style yogurt, vanilla or plain
  • 1 scoop protein or collagen peptides powder, vanilla or chocolate
  • 1/4 cup milk of choice (more if needed)
  • 2 tablespoons of the prepared date caramel

Toppings Optional

  • Fresh or freeze-dried fruit or berries
  • Sliced banana
  • Chopped nuts
  • Granola
  • Coconut flakes
  • Chocolate chips
  • Drizzle of extra date caramel

Instructions

Date Caramel

  • Blend dates, milk, and salt until smooth. Add extra milk if needed.

Smoothie Bowl

  • Combine frozen banana, yogurt, protein powder, milk, and 2 tablespoons of date caramel in a blender or food processor and blend until thick and creamy.
    Transfer to a bowl and add your choice of toppings.
    Drizzle with more date caramel and enjoy!
