1 1/2cupsmilk of choice (dairy or unsweetened almond milk work well)
1cupraw almonds, soaked overnight and drained
1/2cupraw cashews, soaked overnight and drained
1/2cuprolled oats
6-8Medjool dates, pitted
1/4cupcocoa or cacao powder
2scoopsprotein powder (vanilla or chocolate)
1teaspoonvanilla extract
Pinch sea salt

Instructions
Either soak the oats and dates overnight or add them to a bowl and cover with hot water. Let soak for 10 minutes, then drain well.Add soaked almonds, cashews, oats, dates, milk, cocoa powder, protein powder, vanilla, and sea salt to a high-speed blender. Blend for 1–2 minutes, stopping to scrape down the sides, until completely smooth and creamy.Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container. Smooth the top and cover. Freeze for 3–4 hours,stirring once halfway through for a creamier texture.Let sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes before scooping. Enjoy as-is or with your favorite toppings.
