Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, sliced and frozen
  • 2 tablespoons sun-butter (sunflower seed butter)
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 scoop chocolate or vanilla protein powder
  • 2-4 tablespoons milk of choice (almond, coconut, or oat)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch sea salt

Optional Toppings

  • Fresh fruit or berries
  • Dark chocolate chips
  • Melted chocolate drizzle
  • Coconut flakes
  • Chopped nuts
  • Granola

Instructions

  • Add all nice cream ingredients to a high-speed blender or food processor.
    Blend until smooth and creamy, adding milk a tablespoon at a time as needed to help it blend.
    Continue blending until the mixture reaches a soft-serve ice cream consistency.
    Taste and adjust sweetness or chocolate level if desired.
    Serve immediately for soft-serve texture, or freeze for 30–60 minutes for a firmer scoop.
    Store leftover nice cream in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 1 week. Let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften before scooping.
