Ingredients

Chocolate Fudge Base

  • 3/4 cup tahini (sesame seed butter. Can substitute with peanut butter, almond butter, or any type of nut butter)
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/3 cup chocolate or unflavoured protein powder
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 3-4 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch sea salt

Tahini Swirl

  • 3 tablespoons tahini
  • 1-2 teaspoons maple syrup or honey (optional)

Instructions

  • Line a 7 x 5-inch loaf pan or dish with parchment paper on the bottom and sides leaving some overhanging to act as a handle to get the fudge out easier for cutting.
In a bowl, whisk together tahini (or almond butter), melted coconut oil, cocoa powder, protein powder, maple syrup, vanilla, and sea salt until smooth and glossy.
Pour the chocolate mixture into the prepared tin and smooth the top.
In a small bowl, mix tahini with sweetener (if using).
Spoon tahini over the chocolate base and gently swirl with a knife.
Refrigerate 2–3 hours or freeze for 1 hour until firm.
Slice into 12-16 squares and store chilled.
Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week or in the freezer for up to 1 month.
