1cupblueberries, or any other berry, frozen
1/2banana, sliced, frozen
3/4cupalmond or coconut milk
1-2dates, chopped
1/2cupchopped greens, kale, Swiss chard or spinach or 1 serving of greens powder
1scoopprotein or collagen powder
1tablespoonalmond (or any nut or seed) butter
1/2tablespooncocoa powder
Toppings Optional
Dollop of whipped coconut cream – recipe below in notes
Fresh fruit or berries
Chopped nuts
Seeds like hemp, chia, sesame or sunflower
Drizzle of nut butter
Coconut shreds
Instructions
Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender. Blend on high until smooth and creamy. Feel free to adjust flavours or amounts of liquid until desired taste/consistency is reached. Add your favorite toppings.While best enjoyed fresh, you can keep leftovers in an airtight jar in the fridge for the next day! Simply give the smoothie a bit of a stir before drinking.
